As the fallout from climate related incidents continues to increase in severity, governments around the world are realising the urgency of redoubling their efforts to transition to a more sustainable society.

This was reflected in the UK Government’s recent declaration of a climate emergency, and further action has been urged by the UN.

It is not just in the public where the need for action has been acknowledged. Indeed, the private sector has been acting on the targets of the 2015 Paris Climate Accord since it came into force.

That said, there is still a real need for those organizations to communicate their actions,and enable key decision makers and business leaders to see the considerable social and economic benefits of positive climate action.

With this in mind, TBD Media Group – via its sister company, Parlez Media – has joined forces with Bloomberg, one of the world’s leading publications, to create the 50 Climate Leaders Campaign.

Over the next year, Parlez Media will produce a series of short documentaries on the visions, actions and impact of organisations from around the world that are leading the transition to a more sustainable environment for all.

Hosted on a specially-designed hub by Bloomberg, this themed campaign will culminate in a summit in New York. Participating brands will be invited to two-days of panels and networking events highlighting the challenges and solutions to society’s most pressing issues.

The hub will showcase the work of brands and organisations worldwide that are committed to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals conceived by the United Nations as ‘ a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all’.

Led by TBD Media, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals campaign hub features the stories of over 100 of the world’s leading organisations tackling diverse issues, including climate action, inequality, technological innovation and more.
